When her cup of tea crashes on the floor in the morning, the neighbor's ball breaks the window, the bus is late and the newsagents don't have the right stamps, someone would say that this is really bad luck. But that's nothing compared to an afternoon mosquito attack, a soap bubble disaster, or the vengeful march of a forgotten tray in her canteen.
Ever since she got a job in the circus, she seems to be doing better.
